DIAdem Error Cannot Transfer Curves to Report

Issue Details

  • From the DIAdem VIEW panel, I clicked File >> Transfer to Report to copy my current view to a report sheet. However, this errors due to curve expansion. How can I resolve this?
  • I am trying to send a plot from my VIEW tab to a REPORT in DIAdem, but I am receiving the error:

Cannot transfer curves into expanding REPORT layouts.  Please enter the curves in REPORT manually

 

Solution

This error occurs when DIAdem is trying to use Curve Expansion, but is not able to successfully map channel names.

To resolve this error you must either:
  1. Rename or order channels to match the curve expansion mode being used.
  2. Turn off curve expansion by using the following steps:
    1. Select the REPORT tab.
    2. Navigate to  Settings >> Layout Setup >> Layout Parameters >> Display
    3. Uncheck the box labelled Expand Curves.

 

Additional Information

Curve Expansion controls how DIAdem handles multiple channels with the same name in Name-Oriented Mode.
