Issue Details

I'm getting the following error when trying to access a module placed in cRIO using Project Explorer:

LabVIEW: The configuration for the I/O channel you accessed is not internally consistent due to a pending configuration change. Try to access the channel again after the configuration operation is complete.

I can see other modules in this chassis, just not this one. How can I fix this?

Solution

This error can have multiple reasons and for that try the following troubleshooting steps:

Add your target in a new project manually via IP address rather than by automatic detection.
Select Deploy All to set chassis configuration.
Reformat your cRIO controller and reinstall the software.
Update your driver version to the newest version compatible with your version of LabVIEW.
The TxPDO/RxPDO interface allows a maximum allocation of 8 bytes. This error can occur when adding the 9th byte. Verify allocation size before adding.
