Can't Add XNET Session to LabVIEW Project

Issue Details

I am trying to use NI-XNET to acquire data from CAN interface using the USB-8502. We have installed NI-XNET, but we can't add an XNET session in the LabVIEW project explorer.
  • Adding a session is not available
  • XNET session does not come up in the project tree

Solution

This is probably caused by a bad installation of NI-XNET or corruption in the NI-XNET driver itself.

To fix this, reinstall the full NI-XNET driver and reboot your computer.
