Change the Default Home Dashboard in SystemLink Grafana

This article demonstrates how to change the default home page dashboard used in Grafana for SystemLink. This can configured if it is more useful for SystemLink users to land on a custom-made dashboard.

Follow the steps below to change the default home page dashboard in Grafana:
  1. Access the SystemLink web interface in a browser.
    • By default, you should land on the Grafana home page. If not, select Custom Applications >> Grafana from the navigation menu.
  2. From the Grafana menu, select Administration >> Default Preferences.
  3. In the settings, change the Home Dashboard option to a dashboard of your choice.
    • If no dashboards appear, it may be because you have not yet created a dashboard, or you did not save a recently created dashboard.
  4. Click Save to save your changes.
    • If prompted to save changes for the whole organization, click Save.

Now Grafana will automatically use your custom dashboard as the home page.
