Issue Details

I used to work with hws files in NI-SCOPE, NI-FGEN or NI-HSDIO and miss them in my latest software. Where can I find these functions?

Solution

NI dropped support for HWS files with Drivers Version 21.5 or later of NI-SCOPE, NI-FGEN or NI-HSDIO. The file format was only supported on 32-bit and was only used in these specific drivers. The TDMS File format is the recommended replacement. There is a guide on how to convert HWS to TMDS.

Additional Information

If you want to convert your HWS files, make sure to use an older Version of LabVIEW and the Drivers in which HWS is still supported.
