Can't Right-Click or Configure CompactRIO Under Devices and Interfaces in NI MAX

Issue Details

I have my CompactRIO (cRIO) connected to my computer over the USB port, and it shows up under Devices and Interfaces in NI MAX. However, I am experiencing one of the following:
 
  • No menu options appear when I right click it
  • I don't see any options to configure my hardware when I left click it
  • I can't perform self-test or use test panels

Why is this happening?

Solution

That is expected behavior. The USB driver confirms that the device and drivers are there, but to actually access and configure the device, check for it under the Remote Systems:
