Solution

This error stems from a missing or corrupt file in the LabVIEW directory. To fix this error you should repair the relevant LabVIEW software installation.
For example, if this error appears when:
  • Running an application, or causing an application to crash, you will need to repair the LabVIEW Runtime installation.
  • Using or opening LabVIEW Development environment, you will need to repair the LabVIEW Development installation.
  • Launching NI MAX, then you will need to repair NI MAX software and the LabVIEW Runtime installation.

This can be done by following the steps in Repair Software in NI Package Manager (NIPM)

If the error persists after trying the repair, please check if there are any updates for the conflicting software in NI Package Manager by going to the Updates tab (it should show up if there are any updates missing), select the checkbox for the software and the click Update.
