Analyze Password-Protected VIs with Nigel AI in LabVIEW

Issue Details

I am attempting to analyze a password-protected VI using Nigel AI, but the analysis cannot be completed. When I select the VI for analysis, Nigel AI is unable to access or analyze the block diagram content.

Solution

Nigel AI cannot analyze a password-protected VI because the block diagram is not accessible while the VI is locked. The VI must be unlocked before Nigel AI can perform analysis. 
To analyze the VI:
  1. Open the password-protected VI in LabVIEW.
  2. Enter the password to access the block diagram.
  3. Remove the protection if necessary by selecting File>>VI Properties, selecting Protection, and choosing Unlocked (no password). Enter the current password when prompted.
  4. Launch Nigel AI from Tools>>Chat With Nigel AI... or the Nigel AI toolbar icon.
  5. Run the desired Nigel AI analysis.
If the password is unavailable, obtain it from the original developer or other authorized sources. Without access to the block diagram, Nigel AI cannot perform analysis.
