Can NI change the contents of a Cal Certificate after external calibration

Issue Details

I received a calibration certificate for my NI hardware and would like to know whether the calibration results can be modified, whether additional test points can be added to the calibration procedure, and whether the calibration certificate can be amended after calibration has been completed.

Question 1: Can NI change the calibration results after external calibration?
Answer: No. Calibration results represent the actual measured data obtained from testing the hardware against defined limits during the calibration process and cannot be arbitrarily edited or altered.

Question 2: Can I request to add test points in a Calibration Certificate?
Answer: Not as part of a standard request. Standard calibration procedures in Calibration Executive (CalExec) do not support specifying custom test points or custom test limits.

Question 3: Can the certificate be amended?
Answer: It depends on what content to be amended.
Standard Data/Results: Certificate data is generated directly from the automated or manual test run results and cannot be manually modified after completion.
Custom Calibration Due Dates: If a customer requires a specific calibration due date or interval other than the standard recommended date, this request must be specified prior to service when submitting the calibration request.
Customer Name: If a customer requires a specific customer name in calibration certificate, the request must be specified prior to service when submitting the calibration request.
