Can I Obtain an NI Cover Sheet for a Calibration Performed by a Certified Calibration Center?

Issue Details

I need an NI cover sheet for a calibration performed by a Certified Calibration Center (CCC). I would like to know whether NI can provide an NI-issued cover sheet for the calibration report?

Solution

NI does not provide NI cover sheets for calibrations performed by external Certified Calibration Centers (CCCs).


NI calibration cover sheets and reports generated through Calibration Executive are intended for calibrations performed and validated within NI calibration laboratories. When a calibration is performed by a Certified Calibration Center, NI does not perform, verify, or validate the calibration measurements directly.


For this reason:

  • Use the calibration report provided by the Certified Calibration Center as the official record of the calibration.
  • Do not expect an NI-issued cover sheet for calibrations completed outside of NI calibration laboratories.
