Solution
The availability of detailed calibration data depends on the calibration service purchased with the device.
When NI hardware ships with the standard factory calibration included at manufacturing, the available documentation is typically a calibration certificate that verifies the device was calibrated. Detailed calibration test-point results are generally not included with this service.
If your device was recently purchased and the Instrument Certificate Generator only displays a calibration certificate without measurement data, it is possible that a point-of-sale calibration service that includes detailed calibration results was not purchased with the hardware.
To obtain calibration records that include measurement data and test-point results, one of the following calibration services must typically be performed:
- Traceable Calibration
- Compliant Calibration
- Accredited Calibration
These services can provide documentation that includes detailed calibration results and measurement data.
If you require calibration data for your device, verify the calibration service included with the original order. If a higher-level calibration service was not purchased, you may schedule a traceable, compliant, or accredited calibration through NI to obtain detailed calibration records during the calibration process.
