Offline activation can be performed in FlexNet Publisher (FlexLM) using the License Borrow feature, and in Volume License Manager (VLM) using a Disconnected License. However, the License Borrow feature is currently not supported in the NI software environment.
If this feature are important to your licensing workflow, NI recommends using VLM to manage your licenses. VLM is available for Windows at no additional cost for volume license customers and provides the supported mechanism for disconnected licensing.
