Error -1074102151 When Self-Calibrating NI PXIe-4162 in NIMAX

Issue Details

I am using Advantech IPC 788E, along with NI PCIe-8383 to remote control a NI PXIe-4162 and a NI PXIe-4163 SMU in the NI PXIe-1092 chassis thru the NI PXIe-8381.

The NI PXIe-4162 is slotted in slot 2 and the NI PXIe-4163 is in slot 7 in the chassis and when I try to self calibrate the NI PXIe-4163 in slot 2. it returns an error -1074102151, while the SMU in slot 7 pass the self calibration.

What could cause this issue and how do I solve it?

 

Solution

This is non SMU model related issue but is due to ASPM setting in BIOS. Disable the ASPM setting will solve the issue.

Additional Information

Every motherboard BIOS have different setting. Contact the motherboard manufacturer on the ASPM setting if could not found any in the BIOS.
