Solution
According to the Calibration Executive User Manual, in the Calibration Executive 2026 Q1 Changes section, upgrading to Calibration Executive version 26.0 or later removes all deprecated Microsoft Access Database Runtime and Microsoft Access Database Engine versions and installs Microsoft 365 Access Runtime automatically.
If this process does not complete as expected, the issue may be caused by residual components or corrupted files from previous installations.
1- Verify Microsoft 365 version
-
- Confirm that an up-to-date version of Microsoft 365 is installed.
Note: If you confirm that you have an old version of Microsoft Access installed, please uninstall Microsoft 365 components before reinstalling Calibration Executive.
2- Perform a clean reinstallation.
-
- Uninstall Microsoft 365 (Uninstall Microsoft 365 or Office from a PC)
- Uninstall all NI software and drivers.
- Restart the system.
- If having Microsoft 365 is required for your setup, please reinstall the latest version.
- Reinstall Calibration Executive and any additional drivers required.
