Issue Details

In VeriStand 2024 Q4 and earlier versions, users can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+A in the Mapping window to select all mapping channels.

Starting with VeriStand 2025 Q1 and continuing versions, the Ctrl+A shortcut no longer selects all mapping channels in the Mapping window. Users may observe that pressing Ctrl+A has no effect on the channel selection, leading to the assumption that the "Select All" functionality is no longer available.

This behavior is expected and is due to a change in the keyboard shortcut assignment for the Mapping window in newer VeriStand releases.

Solution

To select all mapping channels in the Mapping window in VeriStand 2025 Q1 and newer versions, use the following keyboard shortcut:

Ctrl+Shift+A

Steps

  1. Open the Mapping window.
  2. Click anywhere within the mapping channel list to ensure it has focus.
  3. Press Ctrl+Shift+A.
  4. All mapping channels in the current Mapping window will be selected.

Additional Information

  • VeriStand 2024 Q4 and earlier: Use Ctrl+A to select all mapping channels.
  • VeriStand 2025 Q1 and newer versions: Use Ctrl+Shift+A to select all mapping channels.

This shortcut change restores the same "Select All" functionality that was previously accessed through Ctrl+A.
