Issue Details

There is an unexpected date format in the STS report generated by MSW during bring-up for STS.

The date displayed in the external calibration does not match the expected date format M/d/yyyy.

Solution

The date format in STS reports generated by Maintenance Software (MSW) is typically determined by the Windows Regional Settings of the tester’s operating system. If the report displays yy/MM/dd instead of the expected M/d/yyyy, it is likely because the system's "Short date" format is configured to a non-US locale or a custom format.

To update the date format to M/d/yyyy , please follow these steps on the STS controller:

1. Open Windows Regional Settings: Navigate to Start > Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region or Region in the Control Panel.

2. Modify the Regional Format: Ensure the Regional format is set to English (United States).

3. Click on Additional date, time> Change date, time, or number formats to see the format as M/d/yyyy

4. Restart MSW and generate a new report to confirm the format has updated to the expected specification.
