Issue Details

  • What are the minimum requirements for a PC with SystemLink Base installed?
  • The online SystemLink User Manual lists requirements for SystemLink Server. However, I cannot find the requirements for SystemLink Base. What are they?
  • How much RAM, disk space and CPU cores are required for SystemLink Base?

Solution

The hardware specifications for SystemLink Base vary depending on workload and size. The table below can be used as a guideline.

Disk space: 128+ GBDisk space: 256+ GB

 

These hardware configurations correspond to the following recommended Amazon EC2 instance types:

  • Small : t3.xlarge
  • Medium: t3.2xlarge

Additional Information

The required storage space will vary depending on the intended workload. It is highly recommended to size the storage appropriately.
