NI License Manager Displays Incorrect Expiration Date After License Renewal

Issue Details

After a serial number renewal, NI License Manager may continue to display the previously recorded expiration date for the locally activated license. Although the renewal has been successfully completed, the updated subscription expiration date is not automatically reflected in NI License Manager.

Solution

NI License Manager does not automatically refresh the expiration date of an already activated subscription license after renewal. To update the expiration date, the serial number must be re-entered using one of the following methods:

 

  • Allow the current subscription license to expire, then reactivate the software using the same serial number.
