Support for Third-Party APIs Used in LabVIEW

Issue Details

I am using third-party APIs within LabVIEW and would like to know whether NI provides technical support for these third-party APIs. Specifically, I am unsure if issues related to the installation, configuration, or runtime behavior of non-NI APIs integrated into LabVIEW are covered under NI support.

Solution

NI does not provide technical support for third-party APIs that are developed and maintained by external vendors, even when they are used within LabVIEW. NI Support can assist with determining whether an issue is related to LabVIEW itself or to NI software behavior. However, troubleshooting, debugging, and support for third-party APIs must be handled by the API provider.

As you can see from the product page of the API, the technical support is provided by the API developer company.

Third-party LabVIEW add-ons may be available through NI websites or installable using the VI Package Manager (VIPM). Their availability or compatibility with LabVIEW does not imply NI validation or official support. Support and maintenance responsibilities remain with the third-party vendor.
