Issue Details

I have a new Dell Qxx1250 Series Tower/Pro Max T2 FCT 2250 Tower, which does not detect the chassis in a default mode. When the BIOS Compatibility Mode DIP is toggled on the PCIe controller, the PC does not boot at all. How can I resolve this issue?

Solution

This is a compatibility issue found between Gen 2 MXI and Dell Qxx1250 Series Tower/Pro Max Tower T2 FCT 2250 models. At the moment, the manufacturer is actively working on the root cause analysis.
Currently, no estimated timeline for a BIOS fix, corrective update, or workaround is available.
