Unable to Boot Dell QXX1250 Series/Pro Max T2 FCT 2250 Tower With MXI Kit

Issue Details

I have a new Dell Qxx1250 Series Tower/Pro Max T2 FCT 2250 Tower, which does not detect the chassis in a default mode. When the BIOS Compatibility Mode DIP is toggled on the PCIe controller, the PC does not boot at all. How can I resolve this issue?

Solution

This is a compatibility issue found between Gen 2 MXI and Dell Qxx1250 Series Tower/Pro Max Tower T2 FCT 2250 models.
The solution to the issue will be released in the MXI Compatibility Software 26 Q4, which is planned to be released in October of 2026
