Unable to Locate Process and Diagnostics Tab in NI-FBUS configurator

Issue Details

When open project in FBUS configurator and want to review the function , but cannot locate any process or diagnostics tab. What is configuration require to done?

 

 

Below are the picture that process or diagnostics tab missing.

Solution

In order to view the tabs , there are 2 method to enable it. You may follow below steps to add it in NI-FBUS Configurator.

 

 

Method 1 : Reset to default settings

  1. Click on Add or Delete Custom Tabs
    •  
  2. In Add or Delete Custom Tabs , Clicks Default to reset to default settings.
  3. It require to save and reopen it in order to take effect. 
  4. Reopen and the Process and Diagnostics tabs will appear.

Method 2: Adding and configure manually

  1. Click on Add or Delete Custom Tabs.
  2. Add a new Tab naming as Process and Click OK.
  3. Click Customize Parameters and select which parameters you wish to add to the new created Tab.
  4. Close the windows and click Save the custom changes once done configure it.
