Creating Background Segments in DIAdem™

In this article you will learn how to create a Background Segment in DIAdem VIEW and DIAdem REPORT to highlight segments of a graph.

Background Segments in DIAdem VIEW

To create a background segment first go into the DIAdem VIEW tab and follow the next steps:

1. Right-click the graph where you want to add the background segments.
2. Select the Settings tab and inside the dialog box menu select Background Segments...
3. Inside the dialog box for Color Background Segments click on here:
   
   
   
   
4.  When click on the + symbol, there would an option to add the background segment with two channels as their dependencies, one should be to set the position and the other one to set the state, the background segment will appear based on whether there is value higher than 0.
   
   

Background Segments in DIAdem Report

To create a background segment first go into the DIAdem REPORT tab and follow the next steps:

1. Right-click the graph where you want to add the background segments.
2. Select the Settings option, select Axis System tab and then click the Background Segments...
3. Inside the dialog box for Color Background Segments click on here:
   
   
   
   
4.  When click on the + symbol, there would an option to add the background segment with two channels as their dependencies, one should be to set the position and the other one to set the state, the background segment will appear based on whether there is value higher than 0.
