Can I use PXI-2532B instead of PXIe-2532B in test program?

Issue Details

Can I use PXI-2532B instead of PXIe-2532B in test program? I want to use PXI-2532B to replace a PXIe-2532B. But there is an error when I used PXI-2532B. The error information is "The number of relays attempted to be driven on this device has exceeded the relay drive limit for this device.

Solution

If the simultaneous drive limit is less than 40. Ideally, it is Yes.
But if the simultaneous drive limit is more than 40, the answer should be No. Because:

  • The simultaneous drive limit of PXIe-2532B is 64
  • The simultaneous drive limit of PXI-2532B is 40.
