SystemLink Server Login Fails on Host PC but Works from Other Machines

Issue Details

I am unable to log in to SystemLink Server from the server PC, even though the same SystemLink URL works correctly when accessed from other PCs. On the server PC, the login page displays an unknown error, despite entering the correct username and password and confirming that all SystemLink services are running normally.

 

Solution

If you are using HTTPS, this issue often occurs when the SSL certificate has expired. An invalid or expired certificate can prevent login from the host machine.

Steps to Verify Certificate

  1. Open NI Web Server Configuration.
  2. Navigate to HTTPS >> View Certificate
