Troubleshooting NI Software Crashes
  1. Disable Antivirus or Firewall temporarily. Antivirus (such as SentinelOne) may interfere with the normal operation of NI Software and hence can cause NI Software to crash.
  2. Attempt to repair or reinstall NI Software. Use NI Package Manager to repair the NI Software. If that does not work, uninstall the NI Software and reinstall the software again.
  3. Ensure that you do not delete any environment variables which is found under the Path for User Variables.  The following environment variable cannot be removed else startup will fail. It is illustrated in the picture below circled in the Red Box.  The environment variable is as follows:   C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Plugin Library Client\

  4. If the above 4 does not work, it is advisable to perform a clean reinstallation of Windows through reformatting of PC.
