Linux RT OS Support on NI PXIe-6535/6536/6537

Issue Details

  • I am using a PXIe-8840 controller with Linux RT OS. I would like to use the controller with PXIe-6535 device; however, the PXIe-6535 is not detected in the Linux RT controller. What is happening?
  • Can I use PXIe-6535, 6536 or 6537 devices under the Linux RT OS environment?

Solution

Unfortunately, NI does not support the devices PXIe-6535/6536/6537 under Linux RT OS. Thus, under the Linux RT OS environment, PXIe-6535/6536/6537 are not able to be detected.

Please switch to using the other multifunction DAQ device that comes with Digital IO.
