Can Previously Created Sequence Files be Opened in Newer Versions of TestStand?

Issue Details

I have several TestStand sequence files that were created in an older version TestStand Sequence Editor. I now have a newer version TestStand, but can I open and edit the previously created sequence files? 

Solution

In TestStand, generally you are able to directly open sequence files from older versions in newer versions of TestStand. However, it is recommended to save these files in the updated version after opening them in the Sequence Editor to ensure compatibility.
