PDF Export From Documentation Displays Incomplete or Missing Characters

Issue Details

When exporting documentation from ni.com to PDF format, I noticed that certain numeric values appear incomplete or are missing entirely. For example, a value like 1350307 may be rendered as 135030, omitting the final character. 

Solution

This issue is likely caused by compatibility limitations between certain PDF readers and the way ni.com renders or embeds content during export. Please consider NI can't predict how third party software will process or render data. To resolve the issue:
  1. Use an Alternative PDF Reader
    Open the exported PDF using one of the following readers:
    • Google Chrome
    • Microsoft Edge
    • Foxit Reader
      These readers have been confirmed to display all values correctly.
  2. If you are using Kofax Power PDF or Adobe Acrobat Reader
    These applications may not render embedded fonts or dynamic content from ni.com correctly, leading to missing characters, you can try update the apps to the latest version.
