Solution
The 5 V pin on the connector is generated by an on-board charge-pump supply, regulated to ±5 %. It is designed to provide up to 50 mA total output current for light external biasing or logic reference purposes. Short inrush currents up to approximately 100 mA are tolerated, but continuous loading beyond 50 mA should be avoided.
