Error 2 at lib_NI_Advanced HTTP Rest Client.Lvlib in a 2025 Executable

Issue Details

I am using the JKI REST Client or NI's HTTP Client. Even though I'm using it correctly, I started getting Error 2 after updating to LabVIEW 2025 when I run my built EXE.

Error 2 occured at lib_NI_Advanced HTTTP Client.lvlib:Session.lvclass:Open Session.vi: 7490001

 

 

Solution

This error is due to Bug 3429625 which first occurred in the LabVIEW 2025 Q1 Runtime Engine.

The work around for this bug is to install the LabVIEW 2024 Q3 Runtime Engine or older in addition to the LabVIEW 2025 Runtime Engine. It should be installed separately.
