How to Update the NI Nigel™ AI

Issue Details

  • I am having difficulties logging into NI Nigel™ AI. 
  • I am seeing a blank screen when attempting to use the NI Nigel AI.
  • I can't log into the NI Nigel AI in LabVIEW or TestStand.
  • I was told that there was a patch that would fix my log in issue, but I cannot find it. 

 

Solution

NI Nigel AI is updated separately from LabVIEW and TestStand. The newest versions of LabVIEW or TestStand may not have the newest version of Nigel. Many log in issues with the NI Nigel AI can be resolved by updating.

 The easiest way to update Nigel is to use the Updates tab.

If Nigel doesn't appear in the updates or you want to check for a newer version, you can update manually. Go to Browse Products.  Use the Search Bar and look for "Nigel." Nigel AI Integration should be the first item to appear.  In some cases, you may also see Nigel Local Service Plug-In. 

 

After selecting the Nigel AI Integration, select Install to install the patch.
