How to Automatically Upload FlexLogger Files to SystemLink Server After Test

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to automatically upload files from FlexLogger to a SystemLink Server after a test is completed.

Prerequisites

  • FlexLogger Professional installed
  • SystemLink Client installed and connected to your SystemLink Server

  1. Ensure the SystemLink Client is connected to your SystemLink Server. For detailed setup instructions, refer to Setting up a SystemLink Client. You can confirm the connection by checking the connection status in the client.



  2. In FlexLogger, click the SystemLink icon. Ensure Automatically publish logged TDMS files is enabled. The SystemLink icon should appear green, indicating a successful connection to the SystemLink Server.

  3. Configure the hardware channel that you need to use on Channel Specification. The picture below is an example using AI0 to measure a Voltage.

  4. Navigate to Logging Specification to adjust logging settings. In this example, its using Start logging when the test begins and stop when the test ends.

  5. On the Screen tab, drag a Waveform Graph onto the screen and select the channels you want to monitor during acquisition.

  6. Once done, press Run button to start the Acquisition. You will notice a TDMS log file will be generated.

  7. Then, click Stop to end acquisition and logging.
  8. To verify if the TDMS file have been automatically uploaded to the SystemLink Server. Open your SystemLink Server and navigate to Utilities >> Files

  9. Select the file to view its properties and confirm it has been uploaded successfully.



  10. Click Preview to view the logged TDMS file from FlexLogger.
