NI Citadel 5 Archive Not Showing Traces in NI MAX

Issue Details

I experienced an issue with NI Citadel 5 where an archived database failed to display any logged traces after I attached it using NI MAX. Although I have followed the steps from Citadel Database Backup and Read From Another Computer to attach the archived databases and the archived file occupies significant disk space, no data was visible in NI MAX. How can I fix this?

Solution

This issue may occur if essential data file types are missing from the archived database. These files are required for trace visibility in NI MAX. Verify that all necessary file types as shown below are properly included during the archiving process.

If the essential data file types are missing from the archived database. You can replace the archived file with a corresponding file from a running database.
