Is NI-DMM Monitor Mode Available in LabVIEW or Other Programming Languages?

Issue Details

Instrument Studio allows you to monitor a DMM (Digital MultiMeter) measurement without disrupting other measurements, for example, a test sequence created in TestStand. Is there any way to do this with LabVIEW or another programming language? When I try to monitor using a LabVIEW example, it will stop my existing measurement. 

From the NI Digital Multimeters user manual: 

"When you install NI‑DMM, you can monitor, control, and record measurements from supported devices using InstrumentStudio."

Solution

The monitoring/remote debugging features of InstrumentStudio don't have any publicly available APIs to access this feature via LabVIEW or any other programming language.

This functionality is only available when using InstrumentStudio.
