Error -63192: VST Device Not Found in InstrumentStudio

Issue Details

I'm experiencing unexpected behavior with my VST. MAX recognizes and interacts with the device, but LabVIEW and InstrumentStudio report that it's not a valid resource. If I use only the VST without associating the PXIe-5655 LO card with the VST, my setup seems to work. What can I do to resolve this?

Solution

Possible steps to resolve the issue:

  • Perform a NI MAX Database Reset.
  • If the issue persists, follow these steps in NI MAX:
    • Change the alias of the PXIe-584x from "RIO1" to "ni584x" (no dash).
    • Change the alias of the PXIe-5655 to "ni5655" (no dash).
    • Reassociate the modules accordingly.
