Issue Details

I want to use S5090 to perform differential measurement of TDR, so I got a question that: Does S5090 have a built-in capability for differential measurements?

Solution

Then answer is NO.

The S5090 does not have a built-in capability for differential measurements like a 4-port VNA. However, It support to perform single-port differential measurements using the S2VNA software by manually entering the required formula into the Equation Editor. For 2-port differential measurements using a 2-port VNA, It will need to use an external Balun.
