Issue Details

In other LabVIEW version I have used before, I could right-click on an icon and click the Help to see the explanation of that icon. However, in the newly installed LabVIEW 2025, I was not able to do this and an error would appear. This issue does not only happen to certain icon, in fact to all icons in that LabVIEW 2025. The error is as follows:

Invalid request 400

Solution

The issue where the LabVIEW Help system fails to launch or displays an error is most likely caused by a corrupted installation of LabVIEW. This can occur due to incomplete setup processes, interrupted installations, or missing system components.

To resolve this issue, consider the following steps:

  • Repair the LabVIEW installation
  • If repairing does not solve the issue, uninstall LabVIEW completely and reinstall LabVIEW.
