Many customers set up their USRP X410 testing environment in a computer room or laboratory. When a power outage occurs, customers must travel back and forth to the computer room or laboratory multiple times to manually power on the USRP X410 and restart the device before they can test again. How can we remotely power on and off the USRP X410?

1. Set up the host PC (Ubuntu OS) and connect the USRP X410 by the network cable for communication.

2. Connect the Host PC with the USRP X410 (CONSOLE JTAG) Port using a USB cable.

3. Remotely log in to the host PC through Teamviwer or Anydesk

4. Use Putty.exe to log in to USB2/3 respectively, as shown below:

Set the baud rate to 115200 and open below two windows:

5. In the SCU window, log in to the USRP by root

6. Send "poweroff" through the SCU window to power off the USRP X410.

7. In the APU window, send the command "powerbtn" to power on again;

The above two USB ports send different commands to achieve remote power on and off of the USRP device;
