Issue Details

Windows assertion complaining that nimdnsNSP.dll is not signed correctly.

I recently upgraded to Windows 11, and since then I have been seeing this warning. How do I resolve it?

This Module Is Blocked From Loading Into the Local Security Authority

Solution

The issue is caused by a missing or outdated Microsoft digital signature on the nimdnsNSP.dll file.
To resolve the Local Security Authority warning in LabVIEW 2025 on Windows 11, update the NI System Configuration to the latest version. You can access the download page here: Download NI System Configuration

To check your current version of NI System Configuration:

  1. Open NI Package Manager.
  2. Go to the Installed tab.
  3. Uncheck the "Products Only" filter.
  4. Search for NI System Configuration to view the installed version.

If it's outdated, update it to the latest available version to prevent the warning from appearing.
