Aligning X-Axes Across Multiple Graphs in DIAdem

Issue Details

I want to compare multiple graphs side by side in DIAdem. However, one of the graphs has multiple Y-axes, causing its X-axis to appear slightly shifted to the right compared to graphs with a single or fewer Y-axes. Is there a way to align the X-axes across all graphs?

Solution

If you prioritize X-axis alignment across multiple graphs in DIAdem, consider using the “n System [linear]” Y-Axis Option. This setting displays each data set in a separate graph within a single area, which helps align the X-axes more precisely.
Note: This method does not allow stacking multiple data sets on a single graph.

If you need to display multiple data sets in a single graph and compare them with another graph in a separate area, perfect X-axis alignment is not possible. This is due to a cosmetic limitation in DIAdem’s layout engine. As a workaround, you can try adding a variable with empty data to help visually align the X-axis, but it may still not be perfectly aligned.
