A customer has requested the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for NI DAQ hardware and accessories, such as NB-1, PCIe-6323, and SHC68-68. Where can these SDS documents be found?

Solution

A Safety Data Sheet (SDS), formerly known as a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), is a document that provides crucial information about the hazards of a chemical product and how to handle it safely. SDS is usually for chemical content product only. For other stuff like cable and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), there is no requirement for SDS.

Additional Information

For lithium battery in cRIO or PXI controllers, it's considered "hazardous", so it has SDS.
