Error When Launching NI-RFSA Soft Front Panel

Issue Details

I have configured the PXIe-5663E in NI MAX, but when attempting to launch the NI-RFSA Soft Front Panel (SFP) either through NI MAX or the Windows search bar, it results in an error as shown below.

 

Solution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Verify the front panel interconnections for your RF vector signal analyzer.
  2. Verify the MAX device association for your PXIe-5663E.
  3. If you have verified the interconnections and associations of your device and you are still unable to launch the NI-RFSA SFP, try uninstalling and then reinstalling NI-RFSA. 
  4. Alternatively, try downgrading or upgrading the NI-RFSA driver version.
