PXIe-8238 - Dual 10Gb Ethernet Ports - Configuring Intel Teaming on Windows 10

Issue Details

I want to use Intel Teaming on the PXIe-8230, but when installing the drivers downloaded from the NI web site I get an error message. The error message says "There is an Issue with Microsoft Windows 10 that prevents the Intel(R) Advanced Network Services (Intel(R) ANS) feature from working correctly..". How do I resolve this issue?

Solution

The PXIe-8238 uses the Intel 82599 10Gb ethernet controller. The card will work with the drivers available on the Intel web site.

As of June, 2025 the latest driver and Intel PROSet software are available at the following location:

Intel® Network Adapter Driver for Windows® 10

The location of the drivers may change, as this is an Intel site.

You will need to install both the driver and IntelPROSet. Once installed you should be able to configure Intel Teaming.

Additional Information

Note: Intel ProSet is not supported on Windows 11.
