Remove “Contacting NI to Update Licenses” Pop Up Window When Launching LabVIEW

Issue Details

Everytime I launch LabVIEW, a window appears with the message:
“Contacting NI to Update Licenses”


 

How can I resolve it?

 

Solution

This is a known issue with the LabVIEW 2022 Q3 version. To resolve this:

1.    Close LabVIEW and NI License Manager.
2.    Navigate to the license file directory:
       C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\License Manager\Licenses
3.    Remove the following files:
      •    LabVIEW_PDSD_PKG_*.lc
      •    LabVIEW_PDS_PKG_*.lc
4.    Restart your computer
