Error-19024 in TestStand Deployment Utility

Issue Details

I am trying to deploy sequence that includes some projects from the NI-CompactRIO driver using TestStand Deployment Utility, and am facing the error shown below. Why does this error occur even though no .lvproj file is open?

Solution

This issue is due to a specific reference leaking from the project, which is the variable "m_cVIServerRefs," which is responsible for counting references to VI (Virtual Instrument) server objects within the NI-CompactRIO driver project.

 

This bug has been officially fixed in the NI CompactRIO 2025 Q4 release. Users experiencing this issue should upgrade the NI CompactRIO driver to the latest version to solve the issue.
