Can I Change the Front Connection Type for C Series Modules?

Issue Details

  • I purchased an NI-9205 with a D-Sub connector. Is it possible to change the front connector to a spring terminal type?
  • Is there a connector available to convert the NI-9221 D-Sub connection to a spring terminal?

Solution

Unfortunately, you can't directly change the front connection of the module from a D-Sub to a spring terminal. However, you can connect a DIN rail-mounted spring terminal block to the D-Sub connector on the module to achieve the same wiring style.
