Error -200077 Occurred for USB-6453 but Not for USB-6421

Issue Details

When I configure AI0 as a differential analog input and AI8 as an RSE analog input, it causes error -200077 for some devices.

 

For example, we encounter a conflict error when performing simultaneous measurements for AI0 (Differential) and AI8 (RSE) using USB-6451 and USB-6453. Why doesn't this error occur with the USB-6421?

Solution

This difference is expected. When comparing the block diagrams of the USB-6421 with the USB-6453 or USB-6451, we can see differences in the connections between the ADC and each channel.

 

For the USB-6451 or USB-6453, there is one ADC for each pair of differential channels, which can cause the error when using AI0 (Differential) and AI8 (RSE) simultaneously.

On the other hand, each AI channel is connected to the ADC through a multiplexer.
