Issue Details

In TestStand, when specifying a long file name or a folder hierarchy that is very deep, the software does not generate reports that are properly accessible.

What is the maximum number of characters allowed for a file path in TestStand?

Solution

This behavior arises because the overall path length, including directory structures and file names, can easily exceed the Windows limit, leading to corruption during report generation.

TestStand effectively generates working reports, recognizing file paths up to 250 characters.
