Issue Details

I purchased a USB to RS-232 adapter to use with the NHR-4600 and when configuring the hardware through the NHR Configurator ("System Configurator"), I receive an error dialog with the text below:

 

NHRCommdrv Error

SetEndOfFile failed with error 87.

 

How do I resolve this error?

Solution

This error is typically seen when not using the USB to RS-232 adapter that was provided by NHR.  To resolve this issue, you will need to use USB to RS-232 adapter provided by NHR or the ethernet communication method with your NHR 4600 hardware.

NHR no longer sells or provides the USB to RS-232 adapters that were used with our legacy NHR products.
