Issue Details

  • What is the voltage protection range for continuous voltage of PXI-2520 when not switching?
  • Is it okay to apply 600 V to the open relay of PXI-2520? Or is it not allowed?
  • What is the maximum voltage in the open state if 600 V is not allowed?

Solution

The PXI-2520 is rated for a maximum continuous voltage of 150 V. This rating applies to both channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground configurations.

It is not allowed to apply 600 V to the open relay of the PXI-2520. The module is designed and tested for a maximum input voltage of 150 V. Applying 600 V can damage the module and does not comply with safety certification.

The maximum voltage in the open state for the PXI-2520 is 150V. This is the highest voltage the module can safely handle without risking damage or compromising safety standards.

Additional Information

The PXI-2584 is rated for 600 V CAT I and may be a suitable alternative for applications requiring higher voltage.
